Believe me. creating a page in WordPress is as easy as creating a document in Microsoft Word. So, let’s see how to do it.
First of all, login to WordPress. Then, in the left navigation sidebar of your WordPress dashboard, you will see an option of Pages. Click on Pages.
There you will see that WordPress gives you two pages by default: Sample Page and Privacy Page. If you want you can delete both of the pages as they are of almost no use to us.
Now to create a new page there are two options. The first option is you can click on the ‘Add New’ button on the top side. The other option is you can click on ‘Add New’ in the left sidebar. So, click on any of the buttons you want to create a new page for your WordPress website.
The editor will open up which will allow you to create a new page. So, start off by giving a title for your page. Below the title option, you can start adding content for your page. You can put any kind of content you like. It can be audio, video, text or image.
Important Tip:
After putting up all your desired content, click on ‘Publish’ to make the page live. To see how the page looks on your website, just copy the link and paste it in the address bar or just click on Preview.
Also, there are some essential pages you need to put on your website. There are: About page, Contact page and a Privacy Policy page. Make sure you include these pages while creating your website.
